Inserito da: cedrick86 il 30 Marzo 2012, 19:53:23
Hi guy!

I Have a Voodoo 2 SLi setup with mismatch card, Windows 98 SE and Fastvoodoo 4.6 driver. Sometime in game the screen freeze. My cards don't overhead (120mm 3000rpm fan directely on the back of the cards). I'm try diffrent cards ( I have 7 Voodoo II cards) and don't change the freeze problem!

This is a driver problem? or my motherboard don't "like" Voodoo 2 in PCI slot

Hardware:
Gigabyte 6vtxe-a
Intel Pentium III-S 1.4ghz
512mb sdram PC-133
Nvidia MX-440 AGP primary videcard

Thank you for your help!

(Sorry for my poor english)

Hi,
You would need to be more precise.
First, you can try to set manually the clock rate. Use regedit  and set the SSTV2_Grxclk to 90 (default rate).

Hi all.

- cedrick86: please follow the Nightbird's tip. Then, if the cards're working at the default clock, try to update both motherboard chipset drivers and NVIDIA GeForce drivers with latest and stable releases.

In general, the graphics accelerators 3dfx Voodoo2 don't cause hardware conflict with the others PCI add-on boards or with the motherboard.

Bye bye
