Esattamente dalla banshee al rampage.
In pratica, quasi tutte le schede 3dfx.

The shmoo program, it tries different timing on the input side of the chip and records pass or fail result. But that is not all!!

After all the information is collected you make a decission on window of operation and set the timing values in the middle if you can.

And after all is done, they get a new DRAM vendor and you start all over again .

Or they change process parameters for the chip. It was a never ending job.

Ebbene, senza approfittare troppo della sua disponibilità, si può cogliere quest'occasione per chiedergli "something about 3dfx hardware".

All V5 cards are all PCI66, they do not use AGP part of the protocol. No sideband addressing, no bus-master.

V4 is the only one that supports AGP protocol. 1X to 4X
