Hi Amigamerlin,

Ciao ciao

Hi guys :)

Is see you like my screenshots. Before any mistakekes are made that last shot Amigamerlin posted is indeed 1920x1200, but framerate is too low to actually play the game. 1600x1024 however runs fine on voodoo 5500.

Glide im having a hard time to read your questions, maybe you can translate them so I can answer them ;)?

Hi omega_supreme, welcome here.

My question is simple: I'm asking you to write about possible tricks you used running HL2 on Voodoo5.

That's all: besides, every your remarks will be appreciated.

Ciao ciao

Actually the game doesn't need any help :)Amigamerlin did all the hard work, his driver is still the one that beats the hell out of the rest :duo

The game takes its own dx6 path so you will loose all the detail from higher dx levels but thats what makes the game run on voodoo 5. Its playable in resolution beyond 1024x768 like my screenshots show. If anyone is interested The screenshot are made on this system:

XP2100+
v5 5500
1024 MB DDR333
WinXP pro + AM3.1R1

Ok, all is very clear and thanks for this report: if you have news just let know us here.

;)

- ^SiRtA^:
