Ragazzi, ho risolto dopo aver scaricato ed installato VLC Media Player come indicatomi. Adesso riesco a vedere i filmati che non riuscivo a vedere con WMP.

cmq se vuoi sapere che codec manca puoi affidarti a programmi tipo avicodec che analizzano il file e dovrebbero indicarti ciò che ti manca ;)
