Ragazzi è proprio vero! Il gioco vuole i pixel shader, il TL e altre cose quindi il motore graf. non è di Unreal 1 ma secondo me del secondo!

Eccomi qua, volevo aggiornarvi sulla situazione.

Per prima cosa la patch che ho scaricato non mi aggiorna il gioco perché va a cercare un file "setup.exe" da aggiornare che non esiste, ho guardato dentro al zip del gioco e non c'è, provato a reinstallare ma niente, per il momento devo accontentarmi di questa versione che tanto non funziona comunque.

Sul discorso del motore del gioco direi che hanno ragione quelli di TGM, il gioco è chiaramente un'evoluzione di Unreal perché le cartelle installate sono le stesse e i files di configurazione pure.

Dato che ho entrambi i giochi installati posso fare un copia-incolla del file "default.ini" di America's Army e di Unreal così vi accorgerete che l'origine è la stessa.

Se ci sono problemi di spazio nel post posso mandarli via @ a PredatorXP che deciderà come pubblicarli, attendo notizie.:)

Te li ho appena spediti.

Anche se molti dicono che Unreal Warfare è un gioco completamente diverso io ritengo che la base di partenza sia Unreal. Nvidia non ha fatto altro che rendere obbligatorio il T&L hardware per far partire il gioco che infatti non va con la Voodoo 5 ma nemmeno con il Kiro II per gli stessi motivi.

Spero che Amigamerlin passi da queste parti, forse lui sa come rimettere le cose a posto...;)
