Through the test, Prescott is so hot that without a strong heat sink, PC refuse to work! Display on thermometer at Prescott bottom and side, bottom temperature flies up to 50°C at booting then rise above 60°C, equipped Cooler Master pure copper + Heat Pipe heatSink and 7*7*2.5 fan turning 6500 per minut (4P plug, big noise). Air-condition keeps the Temperature at 24°C and cold wind blow to testing platform.. On this condition 70°C is achieved difficultly. Say nothing of Pentoum 4 with aluminum CPU, so "Pentium 4 is quit not too hot" cann't last long.
