Maxtor 320gb

Maxtor today introduced their 320 GB hard-drive series that combines high capacity with a long life-time. The MaXLine family is not for the average consumer though, it's more for companies and their server-parks. There will be two versions, the MaXLine II and MaXLine II Plus. The first one will rotate at 5.400 RPM and has sizes up-to 320 GB, the second one is a 7.200 RPm up-to 250 GB drive.

Both drives have a MTF (mean time to failure) of one million hous which would mean 114 years ..

Initally this series will be avaiable with ATA133-interface priced at 299,95 dollar and the plus model at 399,95 dollar.

Dammit, get me three of these babies and I'd have a ~ one Terrabyte Hd capacity
