problemi asus a7n8x-x con usb

possiedo la scheda sopracitata, la quale si rifiuta categoricamente di far andare il mio scanner usb!!! il problema è che nn è lo scanner rotto in quanto sul pc vecchio e quello del vicino funziona e sul mio dopo un pò di imprecazioni si era messo ad andare!! dopo 10 minuti ha smesso e nn si è più mosso!!! l'unica cosa di strano che io ho fatto è stata quella di forzare su i driver dell'usb2.0 senza aver su il service pack...
tralealtrecose ho anche cambiato posizione nei vari 6 slot e l'unica cosa che ho notato è che il modem vien spesso dimenticato all'avvio a seconda della porta su cui è attaccato!!! ho provato anche un hub esterno della philips ma nulla!!! cosa posso fare??:(:(:(

nVidia precisa, nel manuale della mainboard, che il service pack è necessario per utilizzare le porte USB 2.0.

Il fatto che tu abbia vari problemi sulle usb è secondo me dovuto a quello.

Prova ad installarlo, e vedi se cambia qualcosa. ;)

dici? però scanner e modem son usb 1.1, dici che influenza il tutto?

In teoria l'1.1 dovrebbe funzionare anche senza service pack.

Però il fatto che tu abbia forzato i drivers dell'usb 2.0 senza averle correttamente abilitate col service pack mi venire il dubbio.

Magari non cambia niente, ma secondo me tentar non nuoce.

ho buttato su l'hot fix per l'usb 2.0 tanto è vero che nn ho l'icona col punto di domanda in risorse del computer, ma la situazione nn migliora!! idee su cosa possa essere?

Controlla se nel bios di sistema tutte le funzionalità relative ai controller USB sono regolarmente abilitate ed imposta il parametro Plug and Play OS,  se disponibile, su no.

provato, ma nn c'è nessun parametro da settare!! c'è solo se abilitare o no l'usb2.0, se abilitare legacy support usb keyboard e mouse e del pnp resouorces nn ne parla proprio....
