Si, non dovresti avere problemi; anche io prossimamente accoppierò una VGA on-board con uno SLI Voodoo2;)

Con i drivers di 3dfxzone non dovresti riscontrare problemi.. Ciao, fai sapere!

Hi! In general, no particular bios settings are needed. Any way, for optimal performance with Voodoo2, Voodoo2 SLI 3dfx 3D accelerators, some bios settings are suggested; take note that you could not find all settings in your motherboard bios (or some settings could be called in different way). Check in your motherboard bios following settings, and if they are available, enable them:

1) Snoop Ahead

2) Host Bus Fast Data Ready

3) PCI 2.1 Support

If they are available, disable the following ones:

1) PCI/VGA Palette Snoop

Put "setting PCI Latency Timer" on value 0

3dfxzone Team suggest to make personal IRQ configuration, setting level 3 for primary video card (in your bios), making attention that the choice does not create conflicts with other peripherals. It is also advised to disable Power Management if system is old.

Si con driver FV2 4.0 XP GE work god for Star wars, but for Quake not,
In installazione non che problems
In Bios is already

PCI/VGA palette Snoop disable,
I not find this in Bios :
1) Snoop Ahead
2) Host Bus Fast Data Ready
3) PCI 2.1 Support
in patch driver FV2 4.0 XP GE instal :
Tools/OpenGL/3dfxGl/ miniinst1 ,
But game Quake not work so god like before on old Pc 166 : Pci S3 2/3 D 8 MB + Voodoo2,
Now : ,celeron 1100 grafik on board (MS - 6368 v5 - no slot AGP ) :
integrated Trident Blade 2D/3D graphics accelerator + Voodoo2

About Snoop Ahead and Host Bus Fast Data Ready I did not find them in bios menù as well (probably they are not present).

In order to turn on PCI 2.1 support, you could find in Advanced Chipset Features the PCI Delay Transaction, enable it...this would have give you PCI 2.1 support.

About the game...are you speaking of Quake, the first version of id software shoot'em-up?...it does not work good like the old system does... - What does it means? Low FPS or what?

Yes,

In game quake 2 - old game , not work in slution 3dfx open gl ,

I now have Sli voodoo2 - 12 mb,
i think that driver 4.0 GE not work god in Win XP.
when I try to play this game and i chose solution 3dfx
game not play and was error.
error mipmmap...

maybe i must instal something like open gl or power gl?

This game i played in old PC 166 and work splendid so maybe are something wrong or something mis in driver 4.0 GE for WIN XP ?
