le porte usb non vanno piu'

come da titolo, ho una asrock 939nf6g-vsta e fino a venerdi tutto andava perfettamente.

sabato mio fratello mi chiama, e mi dice che le porte usb non vanno. metto una mia penna usb, mi da errore "periferica usb non riconosciuta"... ma se fino a qualche giorno fa andava!!!

provo a inserire il joypad... e non va, non e' neppure elencato in gestione periferiche. altre 2 penne usb, e non vanno.

ho provato nell'ordine a

- cancellare e reinstallare i driver da gestione periferiche (eliminando anche le periferiche nascoste)

- reinstallare i driver nvidia del chipset

- riflashare il bios

ma non funzionano piu', ne' le 2 sul frontalino ne le 4 posteriori. che fare? :que:

prova a fare 1 ripristino... ad 1 mio vicino nn andava più il mouse usb e lo dava come periferica sconosciuta... poi si era corrotto 1 file in realtà di windows.

ehm... ho disabilitato il ripristino configurazione.

per la cronaca, ho provato una live di linux (mandriva spring 2008), e NON andava neppure li :(

fai 1 giro nel bios e guarda se il controller si sia spento o le opzioni si siano modificate

dopo un reset del bios, le porte posteriori vanno. quelle anteriori... credo sia andato il frontalino.
