Secondo quanto riportato da Digit-Times AMD introdurrà il processo produttivo a 0.09 micron solamente nel 2004.
Affected by the delayed launch of K8-core processors, the introduction of 90-nanometer (nm) products by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) will be pushed back to the first half of 2004, the company's latest roadmap showed. Originally, AMD scheduled to roll out its 90nm, SOI (silicon-on-insulator) process-based Athens core (for servers and workstations), San Diego core (for desktops) and Odessa core (for notebooks) in the second half of 2003, following its introduction of 0.13-micron K8 products from the end of 2002 to the first half of 2003.
