Thanks to Tuhin for submitting this news. It looks as though ATI's upcoming R350 has a name. It will be called Radeon 9800 and Radeon 9800 Pro depending on clock speeds.

The performance boost should be enough to erase any performance edge that the GeForce FX has at the moment.
Clock speeds are still not finalized but it's very close to finalization as this is a March product and the European launch will be at Cebit. As far as we hear, and this is still not confirmed, clock speeds will be either 375 or 400 MHz.
Anand has shown that Gigabyte's Radeon 9700 Pro can hit a core clock of 400MHz, so the 375-400MHz claims for the R350 which uses a revised core seem to be right in line. An interesting tidbit provided in the article is that there will be an "uber" model called the Radeon 9900 with a whopping 256MB of RAM.
