Thanks Hank, but the transfer rate of Voodoo 5 with PCI66 protocol is 266 Mb/s (as AGP 1X) or 533 Mb/s (as AGP 2X)? IMHO I think that the agp bus (or PCI66) is a true bottle neck in the new games for the Voodoo 5, in particular the Voodoo 5 6000! Can you confirm me?

Hi All,

The transfer rate is AGP-1X. The Hint Bridge will support only 3.3V signalling levels. The chip-set has to support AGP-1X protocol, which I believe the new chip-sets do not.

Nessun broblema (siamo in 2 a non masticare bene l'inglese!)
Gli ho chiesto se è possibile utilizzare la 6k su pci.
Mi ha risposto di si (con un adattatore).
Poi gli ho chiesto se la 6k+adattatore si può utilizzare su un p4 con fsb800.
Mi ha risposto che il chip set(hinit bridge) ha bisogno del segnale a 3.3v cosa che i nuovi chip set(intel-via-nvidia)non supportano.
Ho tradotto + o -

Hi Cosworth6k,

PCI is still 3.3V, you can use AKIBA addapter on any PCI slot, any chipset.
