Il motore l'hanno cambiato diverse volte... Io ho sotto mano una rivista del '98 e già qui parlano di 3 anni di sviluppo!!!
Il motore previsto era un motore proprietario chiamato "Portal" che avrebbe permesso di manipolare in real-time le mappe e le architetture quasi senza limitazioni.Riporto il sunto finale. Pro - Tecnologia proprietaria "Portal" Contro - Ritardi dovuti al perfezionismo (lol )Data di uscita prevista - Aprile '99 |

Un progetto parecchio vecchiotto si... Speriamo che il motore di Doom 3 venga utilizzato come merita...

guarda a me ha fatto l'auto setting, media qualità, poi ha innestato tutto al max tolto anistropico e antialiasing spenti e gira più che discretamente ( a parte nelle zone col fumo dove rallenta un pò)
gira meglio che quake 4 sul mio pc...

Senz'altro i bassi requisiti (dovremo vedere il gioco finale) sono un punto a favore ma parlavo di ottimizzazione... Doom 3 non sfruttava a mio parere in modo pieno il motore... I livelli erano pressochè tutti corridoi buii e angusti... Speriamo che Prey offra qualcosina in più...
