Commate K7TA x Athlon

Premetto che il seguente post l'ho gia inserito alla sezione "Schede Madri" ma non sapendo qual'è il posto + adatto lo posto anche qui!!

Ho provato ad abilitare la seguente voce nella mia scheda e dopo il riavvio non ha + dato segni di vita...
Come posso fare x disabilitare la seguente cosa..c'è un modo.

Premetto che la scheda era settata prima a 105/34 e ora, anche se non si accenda è a 133/33, ma se le mie memorie vano a 133 xchè non va +??

Si riescono a trovare le memorie da 6ns come dice sotto il messaggio x provare a ripristinare la vecchia configurazione.



3.9.1 CPU Host/PCI Clock

The item is set the CPU Host/PCI Clock. The Default setting is recommended.
Any attempts to push beyond product specification are not recommended.

You must install suitable SDRAM on board when the setting is changed. For example, you must install 8ns or faster SDRAM on board if you set 102/34 ~ 120/40MHz as external frequency and must install 7ns or faster SDRAM on board if you set 133/33 ~ 140/35MHz as external frequency. If the external frequency is 143/36 ~ 150/38MHz, you must have installed 6ns or faster SDRAM on board.

resettando il bios non torna tutto ok?

Purtroppo lo schermo è tutto nero, il bios non parte!

si ma il bios lo resetti via jumper sulla scheda madre non dal bios.... guarda sul manuale dove si trova il CMOS reset oppure togli la pila per 5 minuti e poi reinseriscila e vedi se si accende!!

OK, IN EFFETTI è LA STESSA COSA CHE MI HA DETTO UNA PERSONA, CIOè RESETTARE IL BIOS TOGLIENDO LA PILA E FACENDO FARE PONTE A 2 JUMPER VICINI O ALLA PILA O ALLA EPROM.

ORA VEDRò IL MANUALE E QUINDI PROVO.

2.1.2 pulire il CMOS (Jumper giallo)

JRTC : CMOS Function Selection

1-2 :  Clear data

2-3 :  Normal Operation (Default Setting)



How to Clear the CMOS Setting:

Turn off the power.

Remove ATX power cable from power connector.

Remove Yellow Jumper Cap from JRTC (2-3) and put on JRTC (1-2)to remove the CMOS setting.

Remove Yellow Jumper Cap from JRTC (1-2) and put on JRTC (2-3).

Connect ATX power cable back to power connector.

Turn on the power.

While the system reboots, press key to set the BIOS setup

OK OK, in effetti ho risolto.
i primi 2 tentativi sono andati male, il 3° l'ho lasciato circa 25/30 min, e poi sono tornato, ho rispostato il jumper alla sez normale e quindi ..... è andato.

Ma la mia curiosità non si da pace.
com'è che le mie memorie sono da 133, ed impostando il 133/33 si è tutto impallato?
 come dice lo stesso manuale: must install 7ns or faster SDRAM on board if you set 133/33 ~ 140/35MHz as external frequency

Ora, dato che 1/133000000 =7.51 alla -9 cioè 7.5 nano secondi non mi spiego il fatto!!!

vediamo chi mi sa dare una risposta plausibile.

a, cmqe scrivo dal mio amatissimo Athlon 800@824 (sta iniziando il mio overk) e il bios è OK!!!

qual'è il chipset della mobo?

mica il kt133?

se è lui probabilmente è lui che nn regge il 133 (chissà perchè l'hanno chiamato così?)

che cpu hai?

stacca (se c'è) il dissy sul northbridge e leggi se è un kt133 o un kt133A...se è il primo probabilmente è quello!!
